About the Owner:
Nicholas Codd, owner and sole operator of Pando Landscapes, is introducing new energy and innovation to the landscape services industry. Growing up in Morris County, NJ, Nicholas spent most of his young adult life working on a farm in rural Long Valley. It was here that his passion for nature and working with his hands grew. Nicholas desired to become a successful business owner, however he saw tremendous value in pursuing secondary education. Throughout college he worked for several Landscaping companies, one being his Mothers, sharpening his skillset and learning the industry from the ground up. After obtaining his Bachelors degree in Economics from Rutgers University, Nicholas began his professional career as a Trader for an investment firm for nearly two years. Fast forward to Spring 2018, and Nicholas knew he was ready to pursue his dream of owning a business, and better yet one that involved his love of the outdoors. As a young man coming from a technology driven industry, Nick is confident his services will offer conveniences that clients will have trouble finding anywhere else.

Pando, also known as the Trembling Giant, is a clonal colony of a single male quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides) determined to be a single living organism by identical genetic markers and assumed to have one massive underground root system. The plant occupies 106 acres and is estimated to weigh collectively 6,600 US tons.
